11 Days 10 Nights Chiang Mai to Bangkok Tour Highlight Around trip.
Day 1 : Chiang Mai International Airport + Doi Suthep Temple + City temples + Hotel.
Pick up and transfer from Chiang Mai International Airport. Then visit to Doi Suthep Temple, the most important temple in Chiang Mai. Exercising time by walking up 306 steps to the temples or taking the funicular to the temple with the attitude at 1,100 ms. above the sea level. See the Northern Thai dented corner golden pagoda which contain the relic of the Lord Buddha. Surrounding with the mural painting hall which telling about the Lord Buddha story. Here you can also get a chance to get a holy blessing and wrist tiding ceremony from the Buddhist monk. From the balcony, enjoy with the panorama view of Chiang Mai City. Birds fly up in the sky and cool breath against your face.
Come back to the city to see Suan Dork Royal Temple where the northern royal family tombs are located and the standing Buddha Image, the only one in holding the blessing stick position in Chiang Mai. Visit Wat Chedi Luang or The Grand Pagoda Temple where you can see the biggest pagoda in Chiang Mai which broke down by the earthquake in 1454, but still can see the giantic pagoda stands gracefully in the middle of the temple ground. Before the returning back to the hotel see Wat Chiang Maan, the first temple as the royal resident of King Mengrai of Mengrai dynasty. Day 2 : Private Doi Inthanont National Park the Highest Peak of Thailand.
Depart from the hotel in the morning, heading southward of Chang Mai along high way no.108 to DoiInthanont National Park, the highest peak of Thailand with 2,565 meters above the sea leval. Along the mountainous road up see the beautiful scenic view and lush green nature forest area.
See the Twin Pagodas for King Bhumiphol and Queen Sirikit of Thailand as the 60th years birthday anniversary which built by Thai LadaAir Force and locals. Inside the pagodas, see the beautiful art which telling about the Lords Buddha.
Nice view and the small town below and the mountain valley which is surrounding .Visit Hmong Hilltribe people who immigrated from southern part of China into Thailand over 100 years ago. They used to cultivate the opium until the King of Thailand spent his personal money to start the King Royal Project and change their lives to grow other winter crops and stop the cultivating of the opium. The fresh products as you’ve seen in the supermarket come from this place. Lunch en route and continue to “ Pa ka Yor ” or “ Red Karen ” who immigrate from Myanmar. See the way of life and their beautiful weaving products before visiting the most beautiful waterfall called Wachiratharn Waterfall with a powerful stream and return back to Chiang Mai.
Day 3 : Mae Sa Elephant Show + Elephant Riding + Orchid and butterfly farm + Lunch at the Tiger Kingdom + Chiang Dao cave + Angkhang.
Visit Mae Sa Elephant Camp, the most famous elephant Camp in Chiang Mai. After the arrival at the elephant camp. Meet the new friends, big, but gentle elephants. See the elephant bathing in the stream near by the camp. Then enjoy with the elephant demonstration with number of skills such as dancing, live band music, playing football and the most famous elephant painting which you have to witness yourself.
After the elephant demonstration, enjoy the elephant riding for an hour around the camp area. See the lovely jungle area near by. After finish the program from the elephant camp, visit the orchids and butterfly farm. See the beautiful orchids which blooming all year round and the colorful butterflies. Then heading for lunch at the Tiger Kingdom.**Remark** If you wish to play with the tigers you can pay the entrance fee tickets by yourself. After that continue to Chiang Dao Cave, see the temple and the cave where once it was the place where the Burmese soldiers rested before attacked Chiang Mai City in mid 1500 Ad. Then heading to Angkhang Mountain and spend the night there.
Day 4 : Angkhang Royal Project + Lahu Hill tribe at Khob Dong, the very end of Thai + Burmese Border Thaton + Doi Tung Royal Villa of the King’s Mother + Lunch + Long Neck Village + Mae Sai, Thailand and Myanmar Border + Golden Triangle.
Check out and leaving from Angkhang hotel to Angkhang Royal Project, where the King spent his personal money to change the hill tribe life from opium cultivation to the winter crops. Enjoy take a walk in the Royal project with the fresh air and the beautiful flowers garden. Then visit Lahu Hill tribe who lives on the top of the mountain at the very end of Thailand and Burmese border. See the way of life of Lahu who also working for the King Royal Project and growing vegetables for their living. Then visit Thaton, the small town near by Kok River and having lunch.
After lunch, continue the road to Doi Tung Royal Villa of the princess mother of King Rama 9th of Thailand. See the beautiful garden in the Royal villa area. Then visit the Long Neck hill tribe who immigrated from Khaya State, Myanmar. See the incredible length of the ladie’s necks. You can also count the rings on her neck, some have more than 25 rings with around 5 kilograms on her shoulders to be the most beautiful lady in her village. Then visit Mae Sai, Thailand and Myanmar Border where you can see Thai, Burmese as well as Chinese people crossing the border for commercial. Here you can buy some Chinese products if you prefer to. After finish from Mae Sai, Thailand & Myanmar Border, heading to the Golden Triangle where once it used to be the opium trade area. See the border between 3 countries : Thailand – Laos – Myanmar and enjoy taking photos and check in the hotel.
Day 5 : Hall of Opium + Boat along Mae Khong Giantic River to Laos + Black Museum or “ Ban Dum” + Lunch + White Temple or “ RongKhun Temple ” + Sukhothai.
Check out from the hotel to Hall of Opium for the history of the opium journey into the Golden Triangle area. Then take the boat ride on Mae Khong Giantic River to Laos. Enjoy the boat ride with the cool fresh air against your face. After the boat ride, visit “ Ban Dum ” or Black Museum of Mr.Tawan Datchanee, one of the great artist of Thailand. See the collections and the wood carving and the painting in the idea of “ Yin and Yang ”, the balancing.

Day 6 : King Ramkamheang Museum + Biking and site seeing in Sukhothai Historical Park + Srichum temple with the talking Buddha + Phitsanulok + Ayutthaya.
Pick up and check out from the hotel in Lampang and heading to Srisatchanalai Historical Park. After that visit King Ramkamheang Museum for some information of Sukhothai Historical park before taking a bike ride in the park area with the beautiful buildings and the chedis which remind us how beautiful city in the old days. See Wat Pramahathat, Wat Pra Pai Luang, Wat Chang lom as well as Wat Sri Chum with the talking Buddha as the highlight which challenge you if you could get him all in the picture. Lunch in the local restaurant and then heading to Phitsanulok province. Stop Phitsanulok city for you to enjoy the horse carriage around Lampang old town seeing some temples and people. Then heading to The Wat Kai Temple in Ayutthaya for you to see the wild monkeys before checking in the hotel in Ayutthaya.
Day 7 : Wat Yai Chaimonkol Temple + Phanancheong Temple + Ayutthaya Historical side + The Biggest Orchids farm in Thialand + The Iron Bridge of River Kwai, Kanchanaburi
Pick up from the hotel Visit Chai Mongkol Temple ( The temple of victory) with the biggest chedi built by King Naresuan the great of Thailand ( who set us free from the Burmese invasion in the old days). You could also climb to the top of the chedi for the nice view. Then heading to Wat Mahathat ( Mahathat Temple) one of the most important temple where there’s the relics of the Lord Buddha house in the center of the old capital. You can also see parts of the ruins of the temple as well as the most famous Lord Buddha face which cover with the roots of the big Bodhi Tree that you can see in the travel magazines about Thailand and postcards. After that visit Phanan Choeng Temple, one of the most important temple in Ayutthaya, located on the east bank of Chao Phraya River. It was built in 1324. In the main building, you can see the glided 19 meter high seated Buddha image called “ Luang Por Tho ” which means “ The Big Buddha ”, built in 1334 CE as the highly respect Buddha for the locals not only in Ayutthaya as well as around Thailand. Visit the old historical site in Ayutthaya and having lunch in the local restaurant. On the way to Kanchanaburi, visit to Biggest Orchid farm in Thailand for you to enjoy more varieties of orchids flower plants.The last program before check in the hotel, visit the Iron bridge dated back from the 2nd World war for the sunset and then chck in the hotel.
Day 8 : Train on the death railway from the 2nd World war to Kra Sae Cave + Sai Yoke Waterfall + Arawan waterfall.
Pick up from the hotel in Kanchanaburi by van. Then continue by train to the Death Railroad dated back from the World War II. See the beautiful iron bridge which was built from the World War II captive over the Kwae River. The death railroad which was built by 61,700 prisoners during the 2nd World War to get through Myanmar and It took 1 month to finish it. However there are many of the prisoners had died from this due to the difficulties, the starvation as well as the cruelty from the war. Get on the train and go along the rail road which hang with the cliff to Pra Sae Cave where you could stop by and taking pictures of the cave and the Buddha Images inside and imagine who the prisoners spent their time in the cave with difficulties. After the visit of Kra Sae Cave continue by car to “Srai Yoke waterfall ”, the most beautiful waterfall in Kanchanaburi. Here you can swim in the waterfall if you prefer. Visit also at Erawan Waterfall for you to enjoy the clear waterfall with the nature before heading back to the hotel
Day 9 : Kanchanaburi + Damnoensaduak Floatine Market + Bangkok.
Check out from the hotel in Kanchanaburi and heading to Bangkok. On the way, visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, the famous floating market in Thailand. The local people in the village still using the canals as the main route for them to go around. Enjoy the boat ride though the village. Seeing the fruit orchards along the ride and visit the markets. Lunch in the local restaurant and heading to Bangkok.
Day 10 : The Grand Palace + Emerald Buddha + Wat Pho + Boat along the canal + The golden Mountain.
Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok and visit the Grand Palace, the most important place in Thailand, visit Wat PhrasrirattanaSasadaram ( Wat Phra Kaew), worship the Emerald Buddha,the most precious Buddha image of Thailand as well as the grand palace of the Jakkri Dynasty. See the beautiful Thai Royal Architecture on the buildings and the rooftop of the buildings inside the Grand Palace. After that continue the trip to Wat Pho, witness the most beautiful and the biggest reclining Buddha in Thailand. Try your challenge taking photos of the whole Buddha image in your picture. Walking around and see the Chinese statues as Royal Guards of the temple in different actions. After that board on the long tail boat for the canal trip to see the local life style near by the Chao Praya River. Lunch in the local restaurant and then continue to visit the Golden Mountain for your to see the birds’ eyes view of Bangkok as well as the beautiful Golden pagoda on the peak of the mountain itself.
Day 11 : Pick up from Hotel transfer Suwannaphuni International Airport.
